Welcome to Havenrock Reg'd Bernese Mountain dogs:
Welcome to our website, we hope you enjoy your visit; reading and viewing our photos of our dogs and Berner puppies. Here are a few short facts about our how we operate:
- Our dogs are all CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered purebreds as are the puppies.
- We fell in love with this breed and made the decision to breed our Bernese Mountain Dogs in 2008 so more families can benefit from this loving and affectionate dog.
- Our first litter was in February of 2009 and many litters later we are still having fun. We have met many wonderful families over the years and it always brings us joy to see the smiles on their faces when they take their new puppy home.
- Our dogs are all CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered purebreds as are the puppies.
- We have seven lovely adult dams and one handsome sire. They are a big part of our family and are socialized frequently with many family members including our grandchildren, and friends of all ages.
- It is always a great treat to have Berner puppies in the house. They are adorable and they love all the attention we can shower on them.
- We take great care to ensure our dogs and puppies are healthy and happy. All our breeding dogs go through many genetic tests to give your Bernese puppy the best chance for a long and healthy life.
- We live in the beautiful Fraser Valley. We reside in a rural part of Abbotsford with lots of fresh air, trees, and acreage that provides lots of room for play.
- Our dogs are home raised. They even have with their own very large room for those times when they have had enough of the wet weather, hot summer days, or it's just too cold outside. A great place for them to rest when they feel the need for a relaxing nap, and a safe place to sleep at night.
- Our kitchen turns into a nursery for the first four to five weeks with every litter so we can keep a close eye on the puppies and the Mother. Around five weeks they move to a separate area next to the adult dogs. This provides easier access to the great outdoors to initiate house breaking. The puppies love it outdoors as well!
- It has been a great pleasure to unite families with their Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, and have been fortunate to keep in touch with many families to follow their puppy’s growth and experiences.
- Be careful with choosing a Berner for your family, one our favourtie warnings about Bernese is they are like potatoe chips. Once you have one, you may want more. We have had many families return to get their second pup as they have found that one is just not enough! The more the merrier certainly applies this wonderful breed - Bernese Mountain Dogs!!
